How do you pronounce WWAKEUP? What does it mean?

WWAKEUP is properly pronounced as “WE WAKE UP.” It means “WE WAKE UP to make our daily life richer and more enjoyable with cats.”

 

How did WWAKEUP all begin?

Due to necessity, sometimes we buy a product for our cat which is far from personal preferences. As a result, we repeatedly experience the appearance of disharmonious collisions between objects for cats and humans in one space. It was WWAKEUP’s first starting point when we began to believe we need to convey the story in objects as if cats and humans live together in the same space rather than two separate ways of life. In a continuously fast and changing world, we focus on unchanging truths and values with a goal to be able to express your tastes, thoughts and personal story without words but through the objects from WWAKEUP.

 

Are you launching more products?

Yes, we collaborate with small and local designers, craftspeople, and artists to create meaningful collections of handcrafted pieces for your cats and your home. We love our cats, as do our artists, and as such we want to inspire a lifestyle based on slow-consumption by creating timeless and unique limited-edition pieces that are durable and socially and environmentally friendly.

Are you doing anything good for cats in need?

At rescued cat parents, we care deeply about helping cats in need. We make sure to give back to animal focused non-profits. It was our experience of rescuing, and adopting from Puppy Kitty NYC (PKNYC) and doing TNR with BBAWC and Cat Republic that inspired the idea for WWAKEUP. At WWAKEUP, we want all our customers to create a positive impact and feel good in what they are purchasing through the small act of giving back. Every purchase is eligible for donations to give rescues a great start on their journey to find their forever home. There are no added fees or any additional costs for you. Please feel free to recommend organizations you feel we should donate to.
